Features I would like to see in M/Monit

• monit: The ability to make use of a) script return codes, & b) stdout in exec calls.
• A plug-in structure to allow add - on's to be written extending a standard build. This is a big job and would best done by choosing a language that best fits, Lua or TCL or .....
